Philanthropy

“Give back through philanthropy holds us to higher standards of integrity, contribution and accountability in everything we do.”

It is a strong belief of Sustainable Cleaning Services, Inc., and being a successful company, we believe we have an obligation to give back.  We asked ourselves, as an organization, “Are we here for just the growth of a company or are we here to serve our communities, our society as a whole?”  We already knew the answer.

High on the list of priorities for our company was its important role through philanthropy, volunteerism, and civic action. Today, we continue this proud tradition, seeking to make a difference in the world both as a corporate citizen and as a catalyst for individual employees.

We put this value into action by supporting Womans and Childrens causes locally and globally.  We also value our primarily Hispanic workforce for their efforts and hard work ethic and knew we would support a worthy cause that would impact the lives of our employees positively for years to come.

Women for Women

Women for Women International mobilizes women to change their lives through a holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of women in conflict and post-conflict environments.

We begin by working with women who may have lost everything in conflict and often have nowhere else to turn. Participation in our one-year program launches women on a journey from victim to survivor to active citizen. We identify services to support graduates of the program as they continue to strive for greater social, economic and political participation in their communities.

UNHCR

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was established on December 14, 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. The agency is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees. It strives to ensure that everyone can exercise the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another State, with the option to return home voluntarily, integrate locally or to resettle in a third country. It also has a mandate to help stateless people.

HIP

HIP’s mission is to strengthen Latino communities by increasing resources for the Latino and Latin American civil sector; by increasing Latino participation and leadership throughout the field of philanthropy; and to foster policy change to enhance equity and inclusiveness.
